Sendai’s famous beef toungh. Nice restaurant

The roasted flavor and the sweet and salty roast sauce is perfectly balance. The tongue is both soft and crunchy. I didn't know ox tongue should be that tasty. I hope I will be able to go back to Sendai soon to eat it ;) I ate both 善治郎 and 利久, 善治郎 is more crunchy and 利久 is softer, but both are fantastic.

Food was fine, but a bit fast food restaurant feeling over the place.

Beef is ok...but you Must Try the Tongue~!!

Tender and juicy

Sendai is famous for grill beef tongue.I just walked in to this one as it was still opened at 4pm, and was not disappointed.I ordered their set; see image.They were thick but soft, good grilling skill, not very chewy but a little too salty for my taste. The soup was good too, I enjoyed.

Loved it. Gyutan (beef tongue) here is superb. Plus they have other interesting menu such as zunda reimen (green bean cold noodle).

Great place to experience Gyutan. Shop is easy to find and offered an English menu. I got the Gyutan donburi which came with an oxtail soup, hit the spot after a walk through Ichibancho

My first and so far only beef tongue​ experience in Sendai, and I must say it's positive. This place serves only beef tongue, and nothing but beef tongue. They are the Hank Hill of beef tongue. But they do it well

Easily the best Gyu-tan (beef tongue) dish, simple english menu available. Kiwami set pretty recommended albeit rather pricey.
